![]() I changed the JS file to control the LEDS correctly and fixed some weird mappings. Note that you need to reselect the same mapping in preferences after putting both files in the midi folder. Please test the attached version of this mapping to see if it works better. I can’t do any testing myself though, as I don’t have access to the hardware. I discovered two possible errors that might result in the behaviour you’re describing. The shift is only supposed to be active while a reverse key is held down and returned to nomal when the button is released again. Currently only affecting the wheels by using the to control the pitch slider. The two reverse buttons are supposed to be used as some kind of deck shift function. In the scratch mode you are supposed to be able to stop a playing track by holding the wheel, and to drag the track by moving the wheel like ordinary turntable scratching. The default mode is temporary pitch (nudge) for a playing track and jog seek for a stopped one. The scratch button is supposed to toggle the wheel behaviour from the default mode to scratch mode. Also the pitch button (-% +%) are mapped to the gain control, and I would like to map then to then pitch, I know this is something I can change, I just have to read the wikis to learn how to. I have to figure out how to change the REV button to the reverse function. The only things I dont know, the REV button when pressed dosnt reverse the music, but changes the behavior of the plates, once pressed the rev button the plates stops controling the music and start controling the PITCH, and if pressed again i wont come back. This mapper is almost perfect! thanks for your very good work!!! With this butto off, and the music stop I can scratch and get some nice results… (I wish my mac could handle a 2ms latency). Hi Anders! I was testing again and the scratch is quite good… I figured out the music has to be stoped to the scratch to work, also there is a button in the middle on ION named “scratch” that if the light in on, it wont scratch, it will only fast forward or rewind the music (search function). When using it whit the software Djay for mac, sometimes you cant play anymore, because the touch function (fingers sensitive) get crazy, and it wont allow the play button to work, becuase it ~thinks~ you have your finger on it, and it also detect your touch to metal objets, like mouses ou other things attach to the computer… So maybe because of this we can never get a decent scratch with dicosver dj?Īlso this was my first time using mixxx profissionaly, andafter 3, 4 hours playing without any problem my second sound card (usb mini audio card) for cuing stoped working, maybe this usb card is really cheap, or it is some issue with the macbook… anywhay this software is becoming rock solid! better than many comercial applications, Discover Dj still behaves like a toy… I think it is supossed to be a toy anyway ![]() I know this devid has some grounding issues. So I used it like a cdj, and worked really good. but not scratch:/ The scratch just dont work good, it sounds choppy, and has nothing to do with scratch sound. ![]() Also, this app will allow a dealer to load their contact information and a logo on to a MicroSD card and upload it to the Ion ™ system control.Hi, I just teste your mapper for the discover dj this weekend, I was playing ia a party from 8pm till 2, 3 am.
